Contacting Campers
Visitation policy
One of the most important aspects of the camp experience is practicing independence skills. Although this can be challenging for parents, we ask you to respect our no visitation policy. If you would like to check on your camper, please feel free to call the Camp Office 615-459-3971 or 615-504-5419. You may also send an email to Enable JavaScript to view protected content..
All campers like to receive encouraging letters from home. Please include your child’s name and cabin # to ensure delivery. All campers are encouraged to write home during camp. You will be of tremendous help to your child if you will include in his/her belongings, paper and self-addressed/stamped envelopes or postcards. Please remember that it usually takes a couple of days for campers to feel comfortable in their new surroundings. If you receive a letter that sounds less than cheerful, it is likely that by the time you receive it, your child will be having the time of their lives!
Update for 2024~we have noticed that in recent summers the mail is taking longer than usual to arrive. It is best if you leave letters with us at check -in and we will distribute them on the days specified on the envelope. You may also send an email to Enable JavaScript to view protected content. will print your email and distribute to your campers. Email is checked several times a day.
We respectfully request that you do not send candy or food items. If you would like to send a care package, it works best if you can send enough items for everyone in the cabin to be included. We offer trading post every night where they can get a drink and snack. We strive to offer well-balanced, nutritious yet camper friendly meals.
If you need to bring your camper a water bottle, pillow, fan or other items, please call the Camp Director or Assistant Camp Director to schedule a drop off at Camp.
