Enjoy a multitude of camp activities at CAMP Y.I.
Water Sports & Fun on the Lake

Campers have an opportunity to choose water skiing, knee boarding or tubing. Canoeing is offered in ‘Canoe Cove’. Canoeing and being on Percy Priest Lake with camp friends is one of summer’s greatest pleasures!
Swimming Pool

When campers first visit our pool, a certified lifeguard will observe the camper’s swimming ability by administering a swim test for each child and assisting the child as needed. Once confident with their swimming ability, our campers can choose from the water slide, diving board, or just fun-filled water activities led by our lifeguards. Our pool depth ranges from 3’ to 13” to accommodate every age camper.
Horseback Riding

Equestrian Program
Camp YI is an introductory equestrian program with a focus on SAFETY, fun and learning.
The number one priority with all campers is safety. Our goal is to safely and responsibly introduce equestrian activities to all campers, so that they may have the opportunity to develop equestrian knowledge and a love for horses no matter their skill level. Interaction with horses teaches children responsibility, assertiveness, determination, perserverance, and empathy, while enhancing communication skills and fostering love, respect, and appreciation for animals.
The Equestrian Educational Program is offered to all campers for no additional cost. This program teaches basic equestrian safety, grooming, tacking, and horse care.
Lessons will focus on developing riding skills. Lesson objectives will vary depending on the skill and confidence of the rider.
Adventure Challenge Courses

Our Adventure Challenge program was established to teach campers leadership skills and self-confidence by providing team building activities as well as challenges for the individual.
- 40′ Wall Climbing and Rappelling Tower
- Giant Swing
- Quantum Leap
Camp Crafts, Arts & Crafts, Games

Camp Crafts is where we teach our campers outdoor living skills and basic survival skills, such as knot tying, fire and shelter building, and plant identification. Our Arts & Crafts staff are very enthusiastic and are always trying to encourage the creative side of every camper. Some of our projects include: tie dye, friendship bracelets, painting, and nature crafts. We also find time to play fun games to engage all campers!
Team Building

At Camp Y.I., team building is at the heart of the camp experience. From outdoor adventure courses and group challenges to lake activities and campfire nights, campers are constantly engaging in experiences that promote cooperation, trust, and problem-solving. These activities are designed to help kids step out of their comfort zones, communicate effectively, and build strong connections with their peers. Whether it’s tackling a physical obstacle or working together on a creative task, campers develop valuable teamwork skills while having fun and making lifelong memories.
